GAFP (Generation Africa Fellowship Program) is specifically designed for high potential SMEs, drawn from the GoGettaz and Pitch AgriHack competitions. With the support from Generation Africa partners like Bayer, who is sponsoring the inaugural GAFP, the Generation Africa Fellows are guided on the path to real growth.
Program Coordinator, Sophie Nabuliri, and the Nigerian Generation Africa Fellows met up with the team from Bayer at their Lagos offices. They firmed up on action points on how Generation Africa Fellows can collaborate with Bayer in their respective businesses.
Generation Africa Fellows from Tanzania, Rwanda and Kenya also met with Bayer East Africa at their Nairobi office on 16 November 2022. The inspiring message shared with the GAFP Fellows was “The multinationals of today were the start-ups of yesterday!”
As industry leaders, the Bayer East Africa team, led by Mildred Nadah Pita, shared their deep knowledge of Compliance, Working Capital Management, Patenting, Quality Assurance and Leadership with young agripreneurs from Tanzania, Rwanda and Kenya. Their valuable input is guiding the Generation Africa Fellows to refine their business ambitions with best practices as they scale their operations.
